The Patagonia

Patagonian Weather

  • As I traveled south in Patagonia the weather became cooler, wetter, and windier.
  • Weather is very changeable in Patagonia.
  • It is comparable to the Pacific Northwest or the Panhandle of Alaska.
  • Rivers rise and fall fast, and can become muddy overnight.
  • Waterproof hiking boots are a must, as is wool or warm synthetic clothing.
