I worked my way downriver at the confluence of the Rio Azul, Futaleufu, and the Arroyo Las Cruces. I covered only 10 or 20 yards in over an hour or so when I hooked this fellow. At least 18″.
On that bead head wooly bugger with legs fished on an OPST Commando Head with a five-foot sink tip.
Water temperature was 56.
Overcast
Upriver from where I was fishing small trout were jumping out of the water
Grin.
